Presidential pardon covers 5,539 people

A presidential pardon marking the anniversary concerns 5,539 people, according to the presidency statement reported by TSA on 31 October. It covers certain people with final convictions, whether imprisoned or not. Exclusions include convictions handed down by military courts and those for terrorism, murder, drug trafficking or corruption.
