Algeria’s Mediterranean coast stretches for more than 2,100 kilometres, linking port cities, family beaches, cliffs, bays, archaeological landscapes and mountain-backed shorelines. This section is the main ALG DZ hub for beaches and coastal travel, with routes into western, central and eastern Algeria.

Use it as a starting point for beach ideas around Oran, Algiers, Tipasa, Kabylia, Jijel, Skikda, Annaba and El Tarf. Local access, swimming conditions, services, cleanliness, lifeguards and transport can change by season, so always check current local information before planning a visit.
