Plane Island / Paloma near Oran — Plane Island, or Paloma, is a small island close to Oran, suited to a short boat outing when weather and sea conditions are favourable.

- Located about ten kilometres north-west of Oran.
- It is also known as Paloma.
- The islet is roughly 300 metres long and 100 metres wide.
- It is uninhabited apart from seabirds and has a shallow small quay and a lighthouse.
- Practical departures are usually considered from Les Andalouses, Bomo or Coralès when sea conditions allow.
