Cherchell National Public Museum preserves material from ancient Caesarea in Mauretania. Its historic building on place des Martyrs, opened in 1908, is arranged around a courtyard and galleries housing archaeological collections.
The new Cherchell site museum appears as a separate entry on the Ministry of Culture's list of site museums. A secondary source dates the construction of a new building to 1979, to address the lack of space in the old museum.

Contact details are shown only when published by an identifiable source; their inclusion does not mean that opening has been confirmed by telephone. Museums and neighbouring monuments are listed separately to avoid double-counting.
This directory can be expanded: not all small local collections have been listed yet.
